2003 winter

At the beginning of 2003, David presents an exhibition in which the main subject is The Painting…how does one paint?…How does one create a composition?…how it penetrates or the form is penetrated…. The artist tries to "talk about what is outside the limit and what comes out there, of fluids, of flowing, of conduits, orifices and lacerations, of signs and vestiges, he talks of what is above and what is underneath, of the compartmentation of the space, about the pictorial matter and how one organizes it to become a sign".

And in this way, Jose Yñiguez points out that the artist has shown preference "for an investigation on the fundamental forms and how they fit into the pictorial space."
